Suggested tyre pressure
I am running Powertrac 285/75/16 MT on my Patrol, currently at 2.4bar.... what is the suggested tyre pressure for a daily ride?

Re: Suggesed tyre pressure
WOW Ian, that is high. I find that my 33x12.5x15 sem to run bulging in the middle at anything over 2.2. These are HT's and only run on tar at the moment as the old Hardbody is still only 2x4. I thus run hem at 1.8. My old 31's MT KL71's I also ran at 1.8 for most there life on the Hardbody.

Re: Suggesed tyre pressure
This is on tar. No bulges on the middle, and I get more even wear on the tread. Think there are a few folk who run their 33s on 3 bar.davidvdm wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019 16:25WOW Ian, that is high. Re: Suggested tyre pressure
I ran my 285/75/16 powertracs at 2.3 front 2.7 rear, but I have a lot of constant load in the rear

Re: Suggested tyre pressure
There appears to be no golden rule.... conclusion is to play around to see what suits you and the vehicle the best.
It felt as if the car was hard on the road, hence the pressure question, but then I think it could rather be the new bilstein shocks doing their thing. I must also add that I went from a Pathfinder to the Patrol and may have a skewed view on ride comfort.
