Post by Jorrie »

Anybody have experience with the LAS Profender suspension on a Patrol? How does it perform? Any issues?

Ek het die Profender shocks op en hulle is OK. Ongelukkig het ek geen ondervinding van ander shocks nie, so ek kan nie vergelyk nie.

Try Pedders foam cell shocks. They've been used with some success on other Patrols.

I paid R3k (ex VAT) for 2 longer Bilsteins for the rear of my Patrol (65mm lift), from Mikem about a year ago. I like the fact that they can be serviced.

I also had Bilsteins on my Terrano. Brilliant shocks. Once Darryl at Mikem insisted that they needed servicing after 3 years, but once they were opened, the oil was like new and still totally translucent. No service needed...

Once the fronts on my Patrol need replacement, I will only fit one brand! - BILSTEIN!! Ditto on the Pathfinder.....
