Re: TPMS - Tyre care
No problem
Yes you can take only external sensors if you want to.
Just let the guy know what you want - same e-mail as proof of payment.

Re: TPMS - Tyre care
I see this system is currently on Takealot.com available for R1 950 for the internal sensors.

Feedback from those that bought it please? I am about to put new tyres on my Patrol and want to ensure I keep an eye on the rubber investment I am making.

Re: TPMS - Tyre care
So I got the TPMS from Takealot, will be fitting new tyres next week and the TPMS sensors at the same time. The question now is, where did you place the monitor's in your vehicles? With the solar charging it should be on the dash, but how did you secure it on the dash? I am nervous to use double sided tape on the dash to prevent possible damage as the dash on my Patrol still looks brand new...Oetie wrote: ↑08 Jan 2019 09:01 I see this system is currently on Takealot.com available for R1 950 for the internal sensors.

Finally installed mine, but I can only see fitment instructions in the box, does anyone have user instructions on how to set the pressure limits etc?

Re: TPMS - Tyre care
Hi Guys
Please send feedback as I may consider a set for Storm, especially when playing hard, I would hate to loose a over heating tyre at speed.
We have previously had a set but the batteries were not replaceable in the sensor units so when the batteries go flat, the complete system is thrown away.
Worried about externals as they seem to grow legs in parking lots.
Secondly, when inflating and deflating tyres along side the road when touring or on Patrol events, it takes FOREVER .... x4!
So how do the new type compare?
Thanks
Vanessa
Dune trip coming up soon ....let's make it an epic gathering!
