Re: Safari
Hi Tinus
Firstly, welcome to the forum. Hope to see you around more often.
That particular vehicle is relatively few in number, so there isn't really a measurable market value. It mostly depends on running condition, extras and of course: how much does someone else want it.
Unfortunately though, unlike some other makes (which we won't mention here), the Patrol isn't particularly popular in South Africa, dropping the resale value even lower.
Based on what I can see here, I would expect that you could relatively easily ask between 40 and 50k and get a willing buyer (assuming the vehicle is in running condition). Anything more than 50k will be a hard sell. Sad though, because even just a set of good mud tires on that will cost half of that already.
I tend to agree though that the vehicle is worth more, so better to keep it than to sell it. They don't die easily and can provide many thousands of happy km's traveled. If you do however sell it, please sell it to a Patrol enthusiast. (If I had the money right now I'd take it and turn it into a project vehicle. It would run sweet with a Michael 4.2 TD in it.)

Re: Safari
Fanus,
Toe ek 'n laaitie was, het ons 'n L28 Patrol SUV gery. As ek reg onthou is 6km/l omtrent gemiddeld gewees (met banana branch free flow conversion).

Re: Safari
Tinus,
Ek dink R50k is 'n redelike prys vir jou bakkie as alles mooi werk. As iemand hom REGTIG wil hê, sal jy dalk R55-R60k maks kan kry.
