Hello All
After taking various factors into consideration this is what I recommend:

These recovery points are made from 12mm
plate and have a breaking strength of approximately 8.5 tons. They bolt onto the chassis using the two M16 bolts that hold the standard Nissan recovery point and also hold the bash
plate. These are the only strong enough mounting points existing on the Y61 patrol. They are not present on all Y60's and may require drilling the chassis to allow fitment on some Y60's.
They are bent down at a 45degree angle for the following reasons: If they were left flat then the standard bumper may be vulnerable if the recovery ange were slightly upwards, but if they were bent 90degrees, then it would be impossible to reach the bolts to fit them in conjunction with the bash
plate. Furthermore, they improve the recovery angle but do not sit so low that they become excessively vulnerable.
This leaves the shackles at a 45 degree angle as well, which should hopefully not be too awkward.
They will be available seperately from the bash
plate, I will let you know the prices this afternoon or tomorrow?
Does this solve the problem?
Regards
Peter
