Disconnected the battery last night (for about an hour, think 15 min will be enough) and everything back to normal again.
Sub Tank light is of and the pump is working again perfectly. If the watch in the car reset, you know that the battery was disconnected long enough.

Does anybody know where in Pretoria I can source a petrol pump for my 4500 GRX (1998).

Ek het sowat 'n jaar gelede 'n "Facet" pomp gekry vir my Safari met 'n Weber carb. (nie die hoëdruk pomp nie). Dit is ook nie die ou klein swart pompie nie, dit lyk soos die oorspronklike pomp met 'n staal omhulsel. Ek het dit hier aan die oos-Rand gekry by 'n gewone "Spares" plek, hulle het dit bestel. Ek is seker daar in Pretoria kan iemand so 'n pomp bestel wat dan hoëdruk is vir die brandstofinspuiting. Dit moet net die korrekte druk kan lewer.

Ek sal doen wat nodig is. Die ding moet net betroubaar wees en my nie in die boendoes drop nie. Ek moet so-by-so nou my laaistelsel uithaal om die pomp by te kom, so ek wil seker maak want dis 'n samoesa job om die laaistelsel uit te haal en wee terug te sit.
