I like value for money, and I bought my Kumho 33" M/T's because they were highly recommended by various people and were at the time about R800/tyre cheaper than some other also highly recommended brands.If you check that last youtube video, we were driving on an incline on ice constantly blown in by that wind, and my tyres NEVER slipped once. I felt 100% confident that we were solidly planted on the ground.
This even with the tyres having only about 40% tread left.
I have another video that I must upload, but need to edit some of the time off as I recorded too much standing still time before driving through the really thick snow. Again I was gobsmacked at the traction I had.
Grant was riding on new Maxxi Bighorns MT and also seemed to do just as well as the Kumho's.
So generally they are very noisy, but I think all M/T's are, difficult to balance when they get older, but I think that all M/T's are, and they grab both mud, sand and rock like a baboon with his hand in a jar holding onto the scrap of food.....
