Oom Mac they only do it for free if under waraanty otherwise you have to book the vehicle in and they charge you if they use the CONSULT III

The ecu's has the habit of reverting to

"limp mode" if something critical is determined to be faulty
"some or other failsafe setup" if sensors are malfuntioning/not responding.

more than that I will not comment, as then I'm moving way out of my reference framework, however it would be good to know the cause/remedy for when this happen in a more remote area.

The ECU can only go to LIMP mode if it detects a critical electronic or emissions related fault in which case the management light will be illuminated and the diagnostic unit will reflect a stored DTC in the ECU flash memory

Om soos n IT ou te klink, dalk n reboot nodig - kan n mens nie die battery disconnect vir 30 min of so iets sodat al die electronics gereset word nie?

Ek stem saam met Andries, indien die voertuig in limp mode is en jy ontkoppel die negatiewe punt van jou battery vir so 30 sekondes. Dan sal dit die error clear.

Dan start en ry weer indien daar dan a issue is sal die ECU dit weer optel en dit sal weer in limp mode ingaan. Wat ek aanraai jy vat hom na jou naaste handelaar en laat hul kyk.

Het nou al alles gecheck,niemand het enige idee wat fout is met my Trol nie.
Huidiglik wat gebeur is dit.
Nadat sy lekker warm gery is,van 3-4-5 rat rev sy tot 3000-32000rpm,daarna baie stadig en sonder krag.
1-2 rat is ook nie reg nie maar sy ry darem tot sy self oorskakel by 4800-5000rpm.
Indien ek 100-110km/ph ry op speedcontrol en sy vanself afgear teen n opdraend,na 4 en dan na 3de rat,sal die revs net opgaan en ek sal spoed verloor.asof sy nie genoeg petrol of lug kry nie en die rpms bly omtrent op dieselfde plek.
Soms sal dit wees asof sy vat en los as dit gebeur,so wil-wil geval.

Wonder of iemand dalk raad het,asseblief.
