Tyre Carrier
Goodmorng new to the forum but already collected excellent info.
Bought our Patrol beginning May and busy preparing to kgalagadi later this year. Running some huge rubber cooper AT3 XLT LT315/70/R17
Have anybody fitted the Tauro tyre carrier that bolts to the tow bar

Welcome, and very nice looking truck.
That bracket looks ok, looks like it could rattle a bit though?
These big tyres are a bit of a mission, I recently put 35s on my diesel, and now have to have the spare strapped inside the vehicle as its too big (and heavy) for the rear door.
The ideal will always be a proper steel rear bumper and integrated wheel carrier though.

Yes have had one on my Disco for years, works like a bomb and no does not rattle at all and I have driven some badly rutted roads with it. Only problem is that you need an extension for the tow bar if you want to tow with it on. I am taking mine off so will be for sale if you are intersted

Thanks for the response. I certainly will be interested buying the carrier of you is it the update with the gas shock installed and what is your asking price
