STROMBERG

Post by NISMOnator »

Hi Almal,

Ok so we go to the Wild Expo, was really awesome by the way except for all the Toyota's that was there, any way, so there is this stand fro StromBerg to show fuel saver technique they have via your spark plugs.

First time ever i saw this product. Is it any good, does it work? Anybody got feedback on it?

No I did not buy it? Skeptical, cause it it is so great why doesn't the manufacturers use it as standard?

That the device has been around since at least the 1950s. Yet for all that, nobody has ever incorporated it into a production motor vehicle. The short answer is "it is snake oil".

I used it on my 200 SA BMW and 2,8 Commodore .. wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back late 70's - early 80's
only ONE advantage -- if your plugs get wet, the engine keeps running not vrek like .. That was on the normal plugs & points set up before fuel injection & electronic ignition.
Oh .. and old school engines does start faster with it than without it.
Performance ?? nada / nix / zilch / fôll /
Fuel saved ?? -- dunno, never checked by book .. it appeared the same.
