Just thought id throw this out here to anyone who may know where i can get a new or like new exhaust system for my 1998 4.5l GRX.
The one installed now is the original and has seen much better days, hence the need to replace it (rust etc)
Everywhere i go i'm being quoted crazy prices to have one scratch built, because the spare parts are near impossible to come by.
If anyone has one of these parts jusy lying in their garage and want to sell it please let me know.
If not, direct me to someone who knows patrols and would possibly be looking for some business.
Many thanks.

Re: Needed: 1998 4.5l GRX Full Exhaust System
I recently had a stainless steel system built by Powerflow for my 4.5, using two of their free-flow boxes (a big one at the front and a little one at the rear). The cost was R2700. I retained the standard pipe diameter and exhaust routing so that I could re-fit all of the standard heat shields. I believe this to be quite important, else things heat up that should not (e.g. the clutch slave cylinder area). I did have to deviate slightly from the standard routing, because the big front box has a bigger offset between inlet and outlet pipes than is possible with a free-flow box.
My car is still very, very quiet, so I would suggest that one could leave the little rear box off completely and save a little more money. If it becomes too noisy, then it is always possible to get the little box added in again.
I have heard good things about Roddy at Powerflow Bellville (http://www.powerflowexhausts.com/html/bellville.html), so perhaps you can give them a try?

Have a look at this ad, it mentions a free flow system.
