That is indeed excellent service!! I have the same problem between 80 and 90, changed wheels front and back and it is better than before, but still having the shudder...David M wrote: ↑02 Jul 2019 13:46 So ever since fitting the M/T's I have had a bit of a shudder on the steering wheel between 90 and 100 km/h. Tried to sort out by balancing at 3 different places, removing wheel spacers, replacing some worn front suspension bushes etc but no joy.
Eventually worked out that 2 of the tyres where not exactly round so back to the fitment centre who phoned the distributor Auto & Truck Tyres in Wadeville. Note that they where not the distributor when I originally purchased the tyres.
Received a call from them the next day, took the vehicle to them, they determined that 2 of the tyres where out plus checked the spare which was also not round, did not have replacements in stock, brought 3 up from Durban and fitted them today. Awesome no nonsense service and no charge for tread used or anything else. I had done almost 7 000 km on them.
Before you trek out to Germiston go see Tinus's dude at Autowiel Centurion. They where the guys that picked up the "not round" problem.Oetie wrote: ↑02 Jul 2019 14:14That is indeed excellent service!!
