Has Nissan stepped up it's game?

News report: Nissan sets the standard for service quality and affordability in SA

A pity they don't sell exciting cars anymore, but maybe that's just me

No doubt it is
But I'm thinking more in terms of it's run of the mill cars; last one's that were exciting were the Skyline and the Sentra STi ...
Maybe it's just me ...

I never found the skyline particularly exciting. The Skyline GT-R was exciting, but then it morphed into the GT-R.

But it is true that there's nothing in the middle. No proper hot hatch or reasonable performance models of everyday cars.

But between the GT-R, the 370Z and the Y62, there is no shortage of "halo cars" in Nissan's range.
I just wish I could afford any one of those three...

Peter, quite true what you said. I have always wondered why Nissan never went into the hot hatch market as there is a huge demand for it in SA

I cannot vouch for the service quality, but their pricing is totally mad, insane, ridiculous and over the top!

A set of 4 (Four) (Ja, net vier) injectors for a 2010 Pathfinder is R35k. That is about 20 to 25% of the value of the vehicle. It seems that that injector is the same for all YD 25 motors, including for the Navara and the NP300.

Fortunately Marinus of Terrain 4x4 got me a set for roughly half that price!

Marinus ( Terrain 4x4 parts ) is pretty good with his prices, and the quality from what I have seen through my own purchases is pretty damn good. His service is also better than Nissan......hahahaha.... Marinus knows what a Patrol looks like and drives like
