Go to your nearest Powerflow exhaust shop they will help you with Exhaust wrap(asbestos wrap/tape) gets used on the branches to prolong life and keep temps down.

I bought a roll of this stuff for less than half the price some of the aftermarket performance shops sell it.

I've wrapped my hoses closest to the turbo up in it, but need to get around to wrapping my branches on my patrol up in it. Its just a little itchy to work with. I think I bought a 15m roll of the stuff. It's about 60mm odd wide tape.

Cedric, GMan

Is this made from asbestos?
Is that not a health issue?

Honestly I'm not sure, but as far as I know you cannot but anything with asbestos in it anymore. I am under the impression that it is an "illegal" substance. I'm under the impression that it is a ceramic fibre produced from silica sand and some other stuff, that make the white fibre that then gets weaved or processed into a tape. Its similar to stuff like Aerolite ( think pink ), just compressed to form a tape.
