I'd be interested in a price for 6 new injectors. I see the TD42 and TD42T use the same injector
Nissan Patrol GU 1998 on TD42 TTIKGR4
Nissan Patrol GU 1998 on TD42T TTIKGR4
and front and rear brake pads
Patrol GU 10/1997- Front DB1361TT
Patrol GU 10/1997- Rear DB1148TT

Cedric, just out of interest, why do you want new injectors?
Are you sceptic on recone injectors?
Are those brake pad numbers the Ferrodo numbers of Nissan numbers?

Michael, I last had the injectors replaced ( not sure if they were recon or new - SAC Centurion did them a few years back ) for R425 each, and a few months back I picked up some bad diesel and my diesel filter was a bit old and I also hadn't checked the water level in it for way too long too. The result was that I landed up with a stutter when I floored it. I think under full load I was sucking a mix of diesel and water. I don't know if this could damage the very basic simple mechanical injectors we have in the TD42, but after changing the diesel filter the motor is running fine. I was/am just wondering if the spray pattern could be compromised now.
I was more curious as to the price per injector from Aus. vs getting it done here art Bosch

Ok makes sense, mine sometimes gives a puff of smoke just like a cylinder that misfires except it doesnt misfire which could point to a sticky injector. Also the other day after my Patrol has been standing for almost two weeks had a misfire on one cylinder for about 3 seconds before it ran like normal which could point to a dripping/leaking injector....... so I also have some concern that my injectors are not all that well.
It was only this one time ever that it did this, but I am not loving it
I don't think the water can damage our injectors really, only the common rail ones must stay away from water

Dankie Errol, ek wil dit ook veilig speel en seker maak.
Ek het darem die EGT monitor so sal sien as n injector fail
