TJM suspension for sale.

Post by Vaatjie »

My TJM suspension is +-18 months old and has done 25000km. Looking for a offer. The lift om my 4.8 GL is 70mm and is the hard coils. This coils is fine if you have aftermarket bumpers and spare wheels fitted. If the Patrol is in stock standard form (like mine) it will give you a firm and hard ride. R800.00 per coil. R800.00 per shock. Still have the suspension on my Patrol and will take them of if I get a willing buyer.

Has the relaxed at all?

Are the front coils heavy duty, cause I've got an aftermarket bumper and winch and bash plate and and and..... the front of my OME coils seem to be very low with the weight on the front. If I compare to Chuck ( Christo) mine seems easy 2" lower.

Is your TJM a 3", 4", 6" lift?

You need to have extra weight in the front of the Patrol. It is very stiff without any extra's weight. Here are a couple of photos of the current setup. It gives a hard/firm ride if the Patrol is empty. When it is fully loaded, roof rack , rack system and trailer it is awesome.

Vaatjie, I have heavy duty OME coils front and back on my Patrol, but the ride is very compliant.

I'm wondering if the big, fat 33" tyres on 15" rims might act as a buffer? It might be worht a try to get more rubber & air between the Patrol and the road, those tyres of your do seem a bit lost in the wheel arches! :mytwocents:

Ek het so TJM in my voertuig (4.5 GRX).

My indervinding is: as ek van die pad af gaan, ry ek passasiers saam, en as ek nie passasiers kan kry nie, dan gooi ek sommer so bietjie ekstra gewig agter in. Dit ry soos n droom. Maar as jy die gewig vergeet.. eish! so effens hard...
May the road be long.. and dirty.
