Thermostat 4.8 (2007 model)

Can anyone assist with repalacement part number/details for a thermostat on a 4.8, 2007 model? True to the Nissan SA reputation, no original sparepart available in SA. The backorder lead time is 3 weeks.

JG, would Midas not perhaps have an alternative? Not original, I know, but if it is a reputable brand you should be fine.

All the spares shops I checked today, including Midas, do not even list the Patrol 4.8. I believ that one will be able to source an alternative with a sample of the original in your hand. However, that is yet another "risk" I will take if I go that route.

Part number is 21200-vc200- thermostat assy. Do a google search and you might find alternate part numbers or order it from e-bay.

Thanks Wheels. I have the Nissan part number you mention above. I spent hours on Google trying what you suggest...no success. Yes, I can buy one via e-bay (available), however it does not solve my 28 Dec holiday departure crisis.
