How much would you pay for this?

No engine, no gearbox, no front diff.
waiting for photos of engine bay.
not sure if transfer case has also been removed...
They want 40k.
I think it is too much, opinions on this?

I would say that is too much, a turbo motor is going to set you back at least R70K plus all the other bits plus all the work to put it together again, would be cheaper to buy a running one!

also though so.
prices i got from jap auto:
“Td42 R45000
Td42 turbo R54000
Gearbox is 4x4 R10500”
excluding diff and other bits, excluding labour...

I remember one about a year ago selling for 25k, & it was complete, just the motor was in pieces.

Not sure I would take that if it was free. It would cost more to restore than to buy another one.
That is only good as one of two things:
- As a frame to start with for a Monster Truck
