Hi Julian,

I had a Tombo fitted on my 4.2D when it was at Michael's. It brought the temps down considerably! Where I once hit 99C with the old radiator, also aluminium if I remember correctly (my car is Y61); with the Tombo I have only gone up to about 93C. Normally my car runs around 80-85C - take into consideration that I have a grass-seed net on the bull bar, which restricts air flow.

Tombo radiator was also roughly 1/3 the price of a new Nissan Radiator.

Or you could spend an extra R25K and get this one that is already turbo charged :biggrin: :biggrin:

Inclined to agree, think it must be one of the cleanest GQ's in the country with only 180000km since new, the imported GR spec and numerous extras plus the hairdryer
