1991 GQ TD42 for Sale
Good day all,
1991 Nissan Patrol GQ with TD42 NA motor.
7 Seater all the seats has been redone with new covers.
406000km the engine completely rebuild on 376000km, rebuild can be checked under "Engines" section. This cost was R56 000.
New manual front hubs and seals replaced on front axial and all differential/transfer oils changed.
A lot of maintenance has been done on the vehicle from purchase.
Combination Ironman/Tough Dog suspension.
33x10.5R15 Maxxis Bravo 980 AT tyres - done 20000km.
Vehicle in daily use current fuel consumption 7.9km/l.
One thing I did not get to, is to upgrade the sound system.
The history of this Patrol - I am the 3rd forum owner of this vehicle 1st it was owned by Zantus -Barto de Koning, after that it went to Bloemfontein for a while and then it went back to PE under the care of Andre Thuynsma who spend a lot time getting it to look nice again, can see this under thread http://www.patrol4x4.co.za/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=6556. Originally it was a UN vehicle.
It was also a movie star in its previous life check this clip

And here is the rebuild thread:

I was searching for this, hoping to get a glimpse of the body and interior, but only the engine bay and motor is shown in the rebuild thread.
Rudolph, would you be able to add some pics of the rest of the car?

Dankie Michael, dit is nou ongelukkig nie lekker en maklike besluite nie, maar die lewe maak maar draaie met 'n mens, moet maar net aanpas en aangaan.
Ek sal verseker weer eendag 'n Patrol ry!!

Eish, all this talk about cheap biodiesel, and now a beaut of a diesel pops up.
This is dangerous territory for me.
