GQ 4.2 Petrol
What I have done so far is the interior (carpets, seats, door panels, roof lining ect), fitted the mags and given it a good clean!
What still needs to be done, fitting of the spares got from David, Two rear windows, side lights, trim ect and give it a good service
Extras on the GQ that can not be seen is a 50mm lift, 140L fuel tank, duel battery system ect
Also willing to swop for a completed 4.5 GRX if anyone is interested with some cash put in from my side!

Re: GQ 4.2 Petrol
Ian - Me thinks you are going to battle to find a 4.5 that is in as good a condition as that GQ with so little left to do...
Pity I have a GL and not a GRX....

If I where to arrive home with another or different Patrol I wouldn't even get to sleep on the couch.... It would be the kennel at best..... I love the look of the GQ's but am in for over R 250 k on mine so I get buried in itIanT wrote:David, will look at a GL as well!

Re: GQ 4.2 Petrol
How does the power, performance, fuel economy etc. compare between the 4.2 & 4.5?

Re: GQ 4.2 Petrol
Not much in it, in my opinion, I would say the 4.5 better on the open road but the 4.2 better in the ruff stuff but both of these I would put down to gearing rather than engine power
