Either that or a 3 litre that was converted,
But the trimming looks very much like what was produced for the UN.
So my guess is grey import.

The pictures clearly show a TD42, complete with pancake filter as used on the GQ'sSJC wrote:According to advert a v6 petrol....
This is typically the type of thing i would not expect to see on a transplant either, as this usually wouldn't be part of a bought engine?

That is not a TD42 engine, thermostat housing, tapet cover and power steering pump is differant. Also it seems like it has plug leads as well so I am betting on a petrol engine.Peter Connan wrote:The pictures clearly show a TD42, complete with pancake filter as used on the GQ'sSJC wrote:According to advert a v6 petrol....

Is a straight 6 and not V6.
Looks exactly like my 4.5 with the pancake filter though and does not have the fancy cover because of that. Can not see if it is carb or fuel injection.

That is indeed a TB45 carburettor model.
Definately not a local model then.
