Thanks Gerrit,

The biggest dammage was the Front Diff which was bend, This I replace temp with the extra front diff from the 4,2 diesel bakkie. According to Aus website the same ratio's as the 4,5. Nissan veiw this information as classified and although they promise to confirm this for me, I am still waiting. The right door and fender was from the bakkie . I had to replace all the lamps however the only one that was dammaged in the accident was the right main beams the others were all vadalised after the accident. The right rim & tyre was buggered so I bought two new Michellins for the front and put left front on spare although all tyres are still very good. Its got OME shock fairly new,the vehicle was very well looked after. Only outstanding items are the steering wheel airbag that pop and the overfender on the right.

Regards

Jeanne

Jean you can test the diff ratios yourself.

1) Place rocks in front of and behind one rear wheel.
2) Jack up the other rear wheel and place a trestle under the axle so that that wheel is airborne.
3) Then jack up the front wheel on the same side.
4) Make chalk marks on the two airborne tires, on the sidewall, at the top.
5) Place transmission in 4h, main gearbox in nuetral, lock hubs manually and release handbrake.
6) Turn one of the airborne wheels. After two full revolutions, the chalk marks should move at the same speed. If they do, the diff ratios are correct.

Much easier than waiting for Nissan?
