Re: Cape Town Get 2gether
Hey Lawrence
great initiative
What is wrong with the CT folks, I see there are more than 30 trolls in and around the CT on the forum? Then again the CT boys are mostly at Newlands watching a winning team on Saturdays Joking, says a HUGE Lions supporter.
Quite a few of us CT guys are expats and rarely home... and when home we get reacquainted with our families ... enough excuses, I would prefer a 4x4 venue, gives one time to bond more informally but then again not sure where I'll be on 7 June, but hopefully I'll be back fro Kenya so please keep us updated.
Thank you
John

Hi Lawrence, I'm due back around 13th June - that could change at last minute, things a bit crazy with last minute work extention cover requests.Sweetlips wrote: ↑25 May 2019 17:32Ernie when will you be back?Tunja wrote: ↑25 May 2019 17:02Then I can only hope its delayed a week or so, after I return from work....Tinus lotz wrote: ↑25 May 2019 10:26 Guys Lohan from brits nissan gave me a call and wants to get involve in your gtg something similar that we had up here a new y62 on show some other nissans a light luch and some custom caps for all the drivers . Lets get it of the ground so the cape dudes can have a great event
I don't want the date changing then I can't make it.
As JohnBoy says, working out the country always makes it a bit harder to set any date in stone.
If there are +- 30 Patollers in CT area maybe he or another admin can send them all a PM once a date has been decided and see if we can get more CT members to join in?

Jade, Brent and Maurizio
How about we do Hollow Tree on the 8th June?
We can discuss arranging something later in the month when of the expats are back.

Re: Cape Town Get 2gether
Almost missed this topic also...
There are a few Patrols here on the West Coast also. Don't forget about us!
As someone else mentioned, a Saturday GTG would be best for most. Social or 4x4 venue.
Seeing that Nissan wants to get involved and show members a good time, may I suggest a date after the school holidays to allow more members to make arrangements??
Regards,
Daniel

I want to speak to this guy from Nissan first and maybe arrange something for month end. This would give us enough time to arrange logistics.
In the meantime you and the West Coast bunch are more than welcome to join us on the 8th @ Hollow Tree.
