Think it is a NORC event and it's their "start of year" not "start of club". It is not on the Patrol forum calendar.
Think the NORC events need to be clearly stated in the title and have a link to their website.

I thought NORC had gone the way of all mortal men.
I would say its pretty brazen to advertise your club event on someone else's site, but I imagine there must be some arrangement with the forum owner and NORC to do so.
I agree with David that if a NORC event is being advertised that it should say so in the title.
I see that NORC has this forum logo on their own forum too. Perhaps the forum owner owns both.... ?

Good afternoon gentlemen
Yes, this is a NOROC event. I have always advertised our events on this Forum and were never reprimanded about doing so. The owner of this Forum is not the owner of the Club Forum. We display the Patrol Forum link on the Club Forum due to the fact that we support the Patrol Forum - we even advertised the Patrol Forum events in the past - a good number of Club supporters are here on the Patrol Forum as well.
The Club, as it stands now, is a number of individuals, just as the Patrol Forum that have decided to continue with the Club. As in the past, non-members/supporters will be more than welcome at any of our events - no-one will ever be expected to join the Club if attending. I am also a Patrol man and will thus join the Patrol Forum events if I am in a position to.
Not to offend anybody, going forward I will clearly state when an event is a NOROC event and in the event that the owner decide that I must not publish Club events info here, I will gladly adhere to his decision.
I can't change the content of the subject line of this post and will appreciate if am Administrator/Moderator can add "NOROC" in front of this thread.

George, ek wil net verduidelik dat die een begin het omdat 'n newbie die draad raakgelees het en dit hom heeltemal deurmakaargemaak het.
Ek is nie die eienaar van die forum nie, en dus is dit seker nie my opinie wat saakmaak nie, maar ek glo as jy al NOROC se uitsappies net met NOROC in die titel merk behoort almal gelukkig te wees?

Sjoe! For a moment I thought things were going to get very unpleasant on the forum. Very nicely handled and that is why I like this group
