Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

So the Jamboree is happening in 3 weeks

Is anyone from the forum doing this event?

Myself and Josh are doing it with the McCarthy Club this year. I did it last year with them and it was really awesome!

Was awesome, probably the most fun event there is. This is my second Jamboree and I will try and make it every year if possable.

I was the only guy from the forum ending up going, but it wasnt a problem......it was really lekker

First day was their jimcana section with 10 obsticles. We did quite well here compaired to last year and only got a couple of banner touches and roll backs. The Patrol is just to big for those narrow layouts. They are really there to make it fun and by the 3rd obsticle you dont care about banners anymore and just start enjoying the event.

Second day was a 10hour mountain route with really amazing scenary. There were 20 odd marshal stops with questions/games to complete and about 60-80km of driving.

Hopefully next year I can go again
