We will have a sponsored braai (pap and vleis) at 14H30 on Saturday. There will be a bar facility for use after the driving/training activities.
Please bring your own camping chairs.

ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE DAY

The club has a sponsor for the braai on 14 May 2016.

The following will be provided:

a. the meat,
b. pap
c. relish
d. 3 x braais with fires
e. braai tools
f. paper plates
g. paper serviettes
h. eating utensils
i. salt and pepper
j. garbage bins

The club members will do the braai themselves and would be able to start braaing at 14H30.

The braai will be close to the restaurant and bar facility.
SANDWANI will provide some seating and tables. Members requested to bring their own camping chairs.

We expect about 75 persons and about 28 vehicles to attend.

For your convenience the expected attendance list is attached.

The arrangements are indicated in the programme below:

PROGRAM FOR THE DAY

07:00 - Committee and Marshals arrive at Sandwani
Task allocation:
Setup branding
Setup and mark Academic track
08:30 - Members and guests arrive, register and sign both the SANDWANI and Nissan Offroad Owners Club indemnities (Handled by Jorrie)
09:30 - Driver briefing (Jorrie/Glyn Demmer)
10:00 - Academic track and Recovery demo’s (Glyn Demmer)
12:00 - Academic track continue and Quarry drive starts/Radio Presentation by Christo van Rensburg
13H00 Academic Track closes.
14H30 - Braai sponsored by Mark White Nissan (Bar opens and the Trail and Academic Track Closes)
16H00 - Departure

General
There are restaurant, bar and ablution facilities at SANDWANI (These are used at the individuals' own cost)
The cost for the Academic Track (R7500) and the braai (R60p/p) is paid for by the sponsors.
Use of the Quarry Trails will be at the individuals' own cost (R100 per vehicle plus R25 per person)
All drivers must sign the required indemnities.
All drivers must have valid driver's licences.
Bring at least 2 liters of water per person.
Bring own snacks.
Bring own recovery gear.
Bring headgear and sunblock.
No alcoholic beverages may be consumed whilst any driving, training or instruction activities are taking place.

The academic track will close at 13H00 and the cost for the quarry trail has been reduced to R100 per vehocle plus R25 per person.

Maybe as an option lets find out who wants to do the quarry track as well, and let them start first so as to have ample opportunity to do both tracks
