Hi all . I have baught my very forst Nissan Patrol about a month ago .
She is a mature bird a 1999 model 4.5 gl in candy apple red .
Since I was a pen kop i use to sit on my dads lap watchingthe camel trophy updates that came up on the telly . It was those evenings and saterdays that made me a land rover fan , I am now 33 years old and i have had 5 landrovers one pajero a suzuki jimny and finaly today i have what i believe is my last make of vehicle .
I am Danie and I have been converted . I will never again for as long as it is possible drive any thing else then Nissan Patrolls . I own a small tool and die making machine shop in Richards Bay Kzn and to date have made myself some very nice bits and peaces for the patroll. Being a landy owner for many years I am not un used to getting my hands dirty so i will be digging and doing most of the stuf myself after confering with all you felloks and of coarse Graham whoom i have called already . I will post some stuff i make in the futer if i think its worth sharing with you guys. First on my list is my track rod which the previous owner had some one weld one of the tie rod end into the one end probable cause they cross threaded it . I plan to make one from a slightly larger billet of EN 19 solid shaft so that the tierods can be replaced and the toe in and out be adjusted again .
