Thanks Tinus
I had a test fit in Boskoets' GQ today. Thanks Pieter!
Its tight, but not unworkable.
on the way home I went via a dealer that has a GU for sale. It has a lot more space than the GQ.

@ Tinus
I have a few permutations of budget depending on which om my vehicles I sell, but it seems I will be looking around R80k-R120K.

Re: Anthony Forgey - New member
Haha, thanks guys
I have looked at all of those and more. I test drove the white GU going for R99k, It has a pretty bad gearbox oil leak and made strange loose noises while turning.
I have looked at the Blue one for R109K. It's not in great condition and they(dealer staff who are clearly not mechanics) were busy working on it while I was there. very worrying.
The 4.8 GRX for R129khttp://www.gumtree.co.za/a-cars-bakkies/pieter ... 0903784509 looks really neat from the pictures and could be an option, but its a little out of budget. I imagine it could be negotiated down a bit.
The GQ for R90k in RIchards Bay is also a solid option http://www.gumtree.co.za/a-cars-bakkies ... 0175766609. reading the advert and looking at the sellers other ads gives an indication that he is particular about the quality of goods he buys and also how he has looked after them.
The GU for R80k looks good too http://www.gumtree.co.za/a-cars-bakkies ... 0422429109. the price is suspiciously low though. anyone know this one?
the GQ in Upington for R70K also looks like it is work a look, but man its far to go and look. it looks to have aftermarket suspension.
Then theres a neat looking GQ for R75k which appears to be incorrectly titled as a 4.8 p63 http://www.gumtree.co.za/a-cars-bakkies ... 0910748409
at the moment I am looking at what type and condition is available in my price bracket. Once I sell my Pajero and the BMW I will need to have done my homework and have narrowed down some options.
