Yes, some scary torque figure that.
But also remember, it peaks quite sharply at 2500 revs.

As a Pertrol head once said to me, "...as soon as you start getting excited with the power, the fun is all over..." It is like premature ej...okay lets not go there.

But if you can keep the engine at that sweet spot then yes, that will kick some petrol buts.

Maybe I should superchagre my V8?
Hi alex
Jip u right but it does look alot steeper than wat it feels, remember I have abt 400nm from 1500revs so from 1500 to 3500 it tugs along nicely, its a funny feeling coz the revs dont always go up sharply in 4th but th speedo climbs like hel..

That probably means that you 4th gear is very long.
Impressive figures nonetheless.

What pressure does your turbo give and what does your EGT say?
With so much power, is nothing compromised?
Someone on this forum once said, you can get any sort of power from any engine. The only difference is how frequently you will have to rebuild.
Same goes for the 1000HP 4.8s - not the ideal set-up four the bundus, but on dunes, yes (with a good mechanic and a fuel station nearby!).

I'm running 1.5bar at full taps. And egts under full load post turbo are 460deg sometimes 480deg. But highway riding 280 to 350deg at 0.5 to 0.8bar and up hills at 130kph it wil only be 420 abt at 1.2bar. I can't see that that is stressing th engine in any way.
Wat I've read so far shows that mine is at a very nice in between power level, my egts and th way it pulls is 10x better wit no stress compared to th factory settings. Factory tuned u just ride harder to try achieve th same speed and power. And any more power then a person is on th limit of clutch, drive line stress, engine head stress crank and so...... just my idea and my research.. oh well time wil tell, hope I'm right though.

Thats true Alex, but I just had a look at the dyno sheet and it still has more than 500Nm up to 3250rpm, so thats still more than enough rev range
