Hi everyone. I recently bought by 96 Patrol off a member on the forum here and finally got it home yesterday!

5. Occupation/Business: Environmental Consultant

9. Current Mods: None (That I can see so far)

That's great then she should be good for another 911000km before you need to look at the motor!! There are some good forum members down in the banana republic you should try to hook up with them sometime :thumbup:

Thank you, I'll definitely try find the guys down here.
Mine sounds a little bit 'tappety' but maybe that's normal, I'd like to see the other guys ones to compare.

Tappets do need to be adjusted fairly often...

It's actually a very simple job.

Somewhere on this forum is a link to the official Nissan workshop manual. Do yourself a favour and download it.
