Very interested to know what the winch plate behind your bumper looks like so if you have the time please post a pic or 2.....

I had to remove the winch recently to give it a service. As such, I thought I would post pictures.

Thanks Ian. If it is still off would you mind posting some dimensions and what thickness is the plate?

David,

The bumper is back on currently. I removed the winch as I need to clean it, greese it and similar when I have some time. I will have to take the bumper off again when the winch is all cleaned and serviced and similar. I'll post measurements when I've got that done.

Well the green monster Patrol had some clutch issues and similar, and it went in to Graham on Thursday. Clutch replaced, engine and gear box mountings replaced, and an issue with the alternator saw this replaced as well. Along with a few other fine tunings and similar (engine timing was slightly out, for example).

I collected the 'trol yesterday. I cannot stop smiling when I drive it now.... \:D/

Graham - thanks a stack. Forget dealerships and similar. Any work that gets done on the truck from now on, gets done by G-Tech... :)

A friend of mine has a bottle store and a distribution license. However, his Tata delivery vehicle went in to the dealership recently to have wheel bearings replaced under warranty, and he has been battling to get all his deliveries done.

Today, he called to hear if I could bring my Hardbody through to help with one urgent delivery. At the time, I was doing grocery shopping for the wife, so I asked if I could not pick the stuff up with the 'trol...

Long story short: did you know you can fit 20 cases of quarts in the boot of a Patrol ? If I did not have the back seats in, I guess it would be about 27 cases...
