Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Cedric - thanks for the "een-twee" jokes. Quite a flash-back to my childhood. Being called "Ian" and growing up in an Afrikaans town made your joke a fairly common one back then....

Mini Patrol, the trol in Brits would not have been me. I live in Brits, but did not yet have the Patrol on boxing day. I only collected it from the Cape last week. There is, however, another Patrol similar to mine in the area I've seen on the odd occasion.

I'll get a couple of photographs of the winch-plate setup when I have the time (back at work and on project) and will post them here when I have a chance.

Alex,

Yes - I am keeping the Hardbody. Love it too much to get rid of it. Besides - having a load bin, it's nice and convenient for moving stuff and similar.

I'd love to do a couple of trails. However, that would be if I have the time. I've got to finish my MSc thesis in the next six months, and the business travels have already started for this year - off to Kenya in about two weeks.

When my thesis is done, I'll probably be back on the dirt tracks again. In the meantime, I'm spending most of my weekends writing. :(

Yuck! - Got yourself a new toy and no time to play.
Wise choice on the loadbin.
