Just saw now i had my highlift jack with me... I could have lifted and shifted the back sideways...biggles wrote: ↑06 Jul 2019 16:21 First outing I had with the patrol and I did not turn quickly enough and ended up front and rear high on the sand. Discovered that the winch did not work shortly after getting stuck. It took a serious pull to get the front straight and nothing but a kitted jeep could even get to me.
Luckily it still had GP plates so I pleaded ignorance to dune driving. Kaapies are always willing to help out a stuck Vaalie!!!

Re: Stuck!!
11 Tons of pulling power stood still. 3 Toyotas and a Isuzu to get me out.

Salt is not your friend....
That took a while to clean thereafter I'm sure!
Since all those Toyotas couldn’t pull me out I had to try and break the suction with help from my clutch and by turning side to side. Little did I know the fine salt would be creeping past the wiper seals and a 3 months later Anthony found this mess.
Mud, Water and Salt!!!!! Is not your friend.
