Ek het nog nooit self gesien, of ernens gesien/gehoor by iemand anders, dat so een breek nie.

Weens my mud pit op plaas, moet ek ongelooflik baie kampeerders uit sleep
wat goed vas sit.

Die ding wat gewoontlik breek, sou iets breek, is die rated straps. Of die patrol se hak aan regter hoek agter.
Net n vinnige loer onder my afdak op die oomblik.

Baie goed breek, maar weereens, nog nooit het ek gehoor van n gooseneck wat breek nie. Wel een keer kank terug van n gooseneck wat vasgesweis was, sonder boute, op n 2mm pyp bumper wat uitgekom het.

Goue reel. Wees bewis van die moontlikke gevare, sit n streepsak oor strap, en laat mense weg staan as jy recover. En gebruik die stewigste en beste posisie hak plek vir die gegewe situsie.


En soms is die gooseneck baie stewiger as enige van die ander hak plekke.

As ek kyk na die twee fotos , dink ek aan wat n ou boorman altyd vir my gese het:
Met fors kan jy jou elemboog in jou stert afdraai. En met meer fors kan jy hom weer uitkry.

Interresant dat die "unrated" d shacke nie breek nie , maar die strap wat lyk of hy rated was wel gebreek het.

Die volgende vraag. As n strap nie geknoop kan word, want dit veroorsaak n swak punt, hoekom het ou straps baie knope in...
