Trip cancelled, where to go for 14 days?

So I had this trip planned for Zim and Bots end April beginning May but it was microlight oriented. Due to technical reasons I can't attend. I've already planned to be off where would you go for two weeks, two kids ages 2.5 and 5.

Some ideas we've had were western cape, central Kalahari (never been there), lake Malawi. Etosha?

Any ideas? I have access to a 4x4 trailer if need be. Patrol is fairly kitted out. With a new set of steel all round and tyres.

Forgot to say 250 per person per day all you need is a clean underpants for the road back air conditioning pool in front of of the house 60 m from the sea and 1.5km of your own beach. ..

I live in Benoni .. so you are very close.
We will be camping there and maily reach out top Sanddrift with KIDZ GAMES during day, and evening J e s u s Film and other Christian fims imed at the kids
The OLDER peoples [thats ME ] will visit the sheep / goat herders on the plains.
We will also go in to Richtersveldt Park

Thanks guys, been chatting the whole night and watching some YouTube...I've been to Zim a couple times and came across this Watch "Self Drive Zimbabwe Free 4x4 Travel Guide." on YouTube -

Zim really is a stunning country. If not for the politics I'd move there. Now I haven't done much touristy stuff there, how's Mana pools compare with having my two kids along? We did take my 5 year old 3 years ago to Moremi and evenings were neveracking, with the bloody hyenas meters away from us adults, my kid was in bed at dusk.

So I haven't ruled out the others, I've got 3 weeks to kill in June too. "Accumulated leave" ;). Got to give the patrol some "love".

Tinus, Moz is a great option I checked injambane is far north, is it safe there? Last time I was in Moz I had kidney stone issues Jul 2014. I'm nervous about being the hospitals...suppose Zim would be the same I suffer gout and kidney stones

What are the conditions like? Cops, etc. I generally don't speed in foreign countries.

Roy there are no issues at all .....
The rules are when get to the border leave the runners alone takes ave of 20min on both sides just stand in the queue stamp your pasports fill in form on moz side and drive ......they are both on electronic scan systems .
As soon as you get to mohamba you take the nothern ring road ....its on your gps you come back on the EN 1 at macia after passing small towns like Sabiè and xinavane about 200km great road and by missing maputo you mis all the hassle area .....from there its about 60km to xia xia and then 200 to injambane . Just before the town you taķe the red road the one with all the signs saying Paindane cocconut bay light house reef ect ect . 20km and you are there ....
The place belongs to one of my clients here in jhb i do all the water power and alterations there .
Out of season 250 per person
The houses has really everything you need and more .....smeg ovens big ice machines 4 bedrooms per house .
There is a pool in front of each house wooden decks all round
The best thing is the sand .....REAL sand 4.8 love it there
I was there this desember and in 14 days i never closed the 7m front door at night or day .....crime does not happen there ....
Great area to explore lots to do or just chill ....
Must say real heaven on earth especially the 100m sand dune in and out of there. ....i have tons of pics on my phone will send them to you
