Agree Cedric,

We should do it in the day next time because my Troll wants to do the rock climb. Also we can play in the mud and have a competition on whos troll is the muddiest. First price is a car wash.

Why one might ask?..... because we open up the beers and brandy AFTER we have finished driving the track !!!!!!
This is the way to go !! I sometimes shudder when I see the behaviour of some guys. At the end of the day - your 4x4 could be a lethal weapon if not driven with the due respect and responsibility. It just gives me a sour taste.

It's sooo good to see I'm in the right company. I'm somma going to have a cold one on you guys tonight !!!!!! QQQ

I have followed the same thread posted by Ricster on the 4x4Community forum.
Man, is that a differnet kettle of fish...
Some even defending the drinking to a degree by saying it is their (the drinkers') business as long as you and your family is not put in direct danger.
I have not ventured much outside of the Nissan club activities, so I have been far less aware of the extent of drinking that happens on tracks.

 I have also followed the Community forums thread and was just as shocked that we in SA have this attitude of, "well if it does not affect me then let it ride', or even worse" we wont be able to stop this so why worry". A real bunch of woosies wanting to justify drinking and goining all over with arguments that are far fetched. One understand why there are so many people killed on the roads if the so called intelegint guys argue like they do on that forum. Ten out of ten for Cedric for taking such a firm stance and for the support from other club members. What is great is that it has now become clear that we as the Nissan Club are responsible. When I step down on Saterday I will feel great as I know there are guys with hight value who will look after the Club, that took a while to build up. Yes those who make their views known are often not liked , but are respected, and that was my motto. People are quick to critizise and find fault, but ask them to do something and you see that they cannot. So Cedric you are my hero for taking this up and just sticking to the facts. What worries me is if the JMPD one day decide to do a raid on that track or just outside it and guys are locked up, then a different story will emerge. An example of such action was done on the " Krugersdorp Highway", were the bikes race on Sunday mornings. What happened is that the bikes would run away for the traffic cars. Then a while ago the Metros, got hold of two fast cars, fitted them with blue lights, signed up the owners of these cars as reservists, put a senior officer in the cars and waited for the bikes. I must say these were not normal cars, but were suped up. They then took on the bikes, well to say the least at some high speed which bikes can do the first car came in and pulled the guy off who thought he was going to outrun them. The cars buddy in a simular car, which had more things it it was waiting further down the highway, and he was dissapointed that no bike came to him. There was 20 bikes confiscated that day. The two cars used were hot GTRS[ for those who dont know those are Nissans ]. So the moral of the story is at some stage things do go wrong. Keep well and see you at Krugersdorp on Saterday
