Laingsburg to CT via Ceres

Post by JohnBoyZA »

Hi Guys

thought you might also enjoy an alternate route from Laingsburg to CT via Ceres which I did a couple of weeks ago - actually an alternate route from Hoedspruit to Cape Town ended being about 2100 km. Not a trip report, but a few photos attached. All dirt road from Laingsburg to just before Ceres, 5 farms gates, getting a bit lost on a chaps farm, a few stream crossings and great fun - average speed about 60 km/hr

I had to take a double take as a silver patrol drove past (I was in my Disco) me in William Nicol I thought someone had nicked MY patrol then I saw it was a Cape Town Reg???

Great to see someone else taking the less traveled route on holiday. :woo:

I also try to stay off the highways on our holiday trips.

Will have to try this route when we are down in that area again, thanks for sharing!
