Getting a flattie in the middle of nowhere

I have been on many roads that are supposed to "eat tires for breakfast" without any issues.

In my own little mind (and therefore very suspect), it's all about managing tire pressures and possibly more importantly temperatures, as well as not using old tires. But I guess this falls in the realms of untested theory.

My two cents.....i have written of 2 new tires on the back of a patrol all to do with not knowing that its flat you only realise when sidewalls starts hitting the body .....like in your situation. ...my recommendation buy strong tires we are not going to start the brand thing again but a stone on a side wall makes problems. ...a new 33 tire cost about 3 k plus TPMS about 2.2k makes sense to get one

My 2cents worth ,It is a combination of tyres,pressure,speed and the drivers ability to read the gravel road.
