2-way radio mounting

Post by Spike »

I searched and found nothing. The previous thread from 2012 doesn't seem to have the photos anymore.

I need to mount two x two-way radios in my GRX and I'm looking for suggestions please if anybody feels like posting a pic of your radio mount. Thankyoudankie.
Because of the intended purpose of the vehicle I'd like to keep the cab relatively neat and passenger-friendly. I may just end up mounting them on top of the dash if I don't come up with a bright idea.

Hi Spike, I fitted 1 VHF radio recently for a trip into Botswana. My OEM radio/cd shuttle was giving problems at the time, so I removed it and replaced with a single din radio and then fitted the VHF below. Anthony did a sterling job and it works great and looks super neat.

Spike

This is my installation.

I have a smaller RTS vhf radio which i chose for its compactness.
