Hi Anyone planning on selling their trailer. I have a Venter voyager with TTT which I am selling and want to upgrade.
I am particularly interested in venters bushbay "kind of trailers". Not Jurgens as I have heard negative feedback when you push it too hard.

Thanks.

Jurgens is probably 5 times the trailer a Venter is!

whom so ever gave you neg info on Jurgens will also tell you Tooth Mouse and Santa and good Toyotas exist .
Only Metalien can compare with Jurgens on build quality

I read somewhere in this forum that they had problems with the Jurgens if pushed hard. Besides a sales person from Lynwood trailer shops who happens to be a Jurgens dealer also suggested a Venter bushbaby as Jurgens are expensive to maintain.

Metalians, I agree are quite tough. Got a quote from Heinz. IMHO venter bushbaby’s are value for money. If I compare a fully kitted metalian mini with venter bushbaby with all extras there’s a price difference of 35k, and that too with a tentco jr tent on metalian and tentco sr on venters.

But that’s just me.

It is like saying you rather want to get a Tata Indica because you hear the Audi A4 can sometimes get a flat tyre if driven on dirt roads and because the A4's services cost more.... :rolling:

Venter is just about the bottom of the pile! You can't go much lower.

Whatever tickles ones fancy I guess. I prefer Metalian against any other trailer but the initial cost of ownership is too high for me. Between this and Venter bushbaby in my mind BB’s are value for money for my kind of usage.

No pun intended to Jurgens owners. My intention was not to say Jurgens are not good but I was comparing them cost wise. Especially used trailers.

I have an Overlander trailer made by Alan Wellbeloved from Buzzard Industries in Durban, had it now for 6 years and it is awesome, been to Moz, Kgalagadi & Cape Vidal and it has given no problems, no rust.
