Re: Compressor hose
Lawrence, any good engineering hardware / accessory shop will have that type of hose (google Apple store in the Strand industrial) or even hydraulic shops.
But why do you want to be stuck with such a long piece of hose in your Troll? Unless its for use at home and hung on a wall that hose is way too long.
Rather find those "suzi" hoses that trucks use for air brakes but the smaller diameter ones, they take up little room and if you need extra length then buy 2 and have quick dis-connect fittings on them. Midas or Auto Zone should sell the loose spiral Suzi pipes with connectors on.
This is my set up and i can reach all 4 wheels with it - that pipe can stretch...

Re: Compressor hose
Lawrence,
I agree with Tunja, you should find the "suzi" type coiled hose at most hardware stores that stock pneumatic equipment and parts. Make up the rest of what you need from there.
on a side, Tunja, shorten the compressor's electrical cord to 500mm and connect directly to the battery and you will get better performance out of it. You have the long hose to get to all the tires from the front of the car!

Re: Compressor hose
Gents
I will have to purchase a new compressor for me in any case and generally they come with those springy hoses.
I have a spare of those already i just hate how they pack up afterwards.
The idea wasn't to have a very long hose it just seemed easier to store.
Maybe i'm over complicating my life in excitement lol.

Re: Compressor hose
Phillip, yes it gets "hot" pumping 285 Muds up, yes i connect directly to the battery and always run the engine - can't believe the amps these pump pull! and on 1 occasion even blew the fuse - don't ask So I should shorten the cables for sure but then will need a extra suzi hose. Life is always a compromise...SCUBA Patrol wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019 15:20 Lawrence,

Re: Compressor hose
Synde ek ook 'n nuwe kompressor moet aanskaf, wat dink jullevan die een?
https://www.bidorbuy.co.za/item/4081946 ... lator.html
Sal graag julle opinies wil hoor!
