Re: Spare Wheel Cover
Are Dirk's other 60 Kw and 140 Nm of torque perhaps also lying in the garage?

Re: Spare Wheel Cover
I use a short tow bar extender when I fit the Thule bike carrier so that the bikes clear the spare wheel. And yes, I realise it decreases the departure angle & may be less safe when hauling the Titanic around, but this thread is not about either of those topics...
PS: I also have one of those nifty Patrol anniversary wheel covers. It's not modified so it won't fit a 33" spare, but it will fit over a standard (whatever that may be?) Patrol spare wheel. Pop me a PM to secure it - first PM in my inbox gets it on the one condition that it fits your Patrol's spare wheel! If not, it will go to the 2nd, 3rd, etc. person...

Re: Spare Wheel Cover
Thanks Christo. I did consider that option but in the end just put the Bosal towbar back on (need it for my trailer anyway, OEM gooseneck is too low) and took off the spare wheel cover. It's all good now.ChristoSlang wrote: ↑12 Feb 2018 21:05 I use a short tow bar extender when I fit the Thule bike carrier so that the bikes clear the spare wheel.
