ZD30 Air Filters - GUD ( and some TD42 turbos)

Juice, let me know the other day that GUD is bringing in the OME equivalent of the ZD30 Air Filter.
Here are a few pics...

At the moment they are selling for around R350 per filter.
What I like about these filters is that they have a nice pleat of filter paper, so therefore a lot larger surface area than some of the other air filters I have seen on here.
I currently use a filter for the Ranger, that also has a lot of pleats in its construction but has a rubber top and bottom instead of the steel top and bottom of the OME or this new GUD filter

Its nice to see that these are becoming easier to access now. I'm sure they will get cheaper too once there has been a bit of movement on stock.
Also, its not too critical on the TD42, but on the ZD30 with an airflow sensor you want to make very sure you are filtering the air to the best level.... dirty air passing an airflow sensor can make poefies quick quick.

Does a ZD30 and a TD42 use the same filter?

This is great news and it actually looks like the filter is based on the more expensive Nissan one.
I will try and order one from our local spares shop and take some pics side by side.

Many thanks Cedric, I was going to bring back a couple of Blue Print air filters that look exactly the same but knowing this will save a lot of space in my suitcase

The N/A TD42 does not use the same filter as the ZD30. Only if there has been a turbo fitted and the ZD30 type Airbox has been installed.

I was thinking about the 4.2td pickup. I am currently using GUD ag1054r, same as Juice.
