onthou net die binneste gat op die patrol moet groter wees daar is n reses teen die hub wat jy voor moet kyk .
baie manne se rims het al afgeval omdat hulle nie mooi kyk nie en dan gaan die wiele los

I would suggest the 50 mm lift. If you go to 76 mm you will also need panhard rods. I have a 90 mm lift and had to have drop boxes made as the available castor correct bushes did not do enough.

GMAN in Capetown can assist you should you want to go further than 50 mm.
What 50mm lifts kits is available?

I am using a Koni shocks and King springs combo currently. The Koni are adjustable damping and have them on a medium rating, has not made the ride harsh around town or over speed bumps. Lift is a moderate 40mm only on the King springs I have.

Hi SJC, how is it going with finding a Patrol bakkie? You get 2inch lift suspensions in all major brands for a Patrol. the guys talk about lift kits but it referes to suspensions. But I am sure you wil get 50mm body lift kits for Patrols. Just not a very popular mod.

Hi, i'm still trying to buy a patrol.

50mm lift kit: would this be a spacer lift? I was wondering if this would be neccesary to fit 33" tyres on a patrol pickup.

in my humble opinion, anything smaller than 33" tires just looks too small.

SJC,

Thats a tough one. hope it all works out well. i am no expert but my thoughts are, a lift kit is normally a spacer kit where you lift the body only. they go in between the body and the chassis. a suspension lift is lifting the whole car through up graded suspension. I am not a fan of body lift kits, they come with their own set of troubles I think. suspension lift is the way to go for myself. on a Patrol wagon it is not needed to do any mods to fit the 33"s. they fit perfectly and dont rub anywhere, even while off-roading. I am not sure on the bakkie. but their are threads on this on the forum. Russ drives a bakkie with 33's if i'm correct.

Stefan, your humble opinion is inline with my thoughts
