Thanks for those PICS. Yeah if that is how it is holding up in a loadbin then I am confident it will hold for the application I am going for.

Will post PICS when I get started. Just not sure when I will eventually get to kick off this little project. Day jobs are over rated

Has anyone considered using Super lakold? You can get 20L for R750 from build it and as far as I know you can paint metals as its non corrosive. I cut and old wine barrel in half and painted the inside of each half with super laykold to make them water tight so they could be used as extra large ice buckets. Painted 3 coats and it was very very thick by then. It's a rubberized waterproofer and the finish is very similar to bakkie liner ...

I can't say for sure but it states that one of its primary uses is a waterproof roofing sealant that can be used on flat roofs and corrugated roof sheets so it should be pretty good...

Thanks Guys. Yeah thus far I am pretty chuffed with the result. I will post some more closeup pics when I get to refitting the fenders to show the attachments solution. It might only be in a little while. The project is running in a "bietjie hier, bietjie daar" format as time allows, so it's taking time. I still have some other polyurethane bits to do on the car as well before re-assembly..

All the panels back on the car. Still got some touch ups here an there to do but happy with the end result. Now it is for the test of time.
