Wat 'n fantastiese projek, Pieter! Geluk daarmee dat jy die deursettingsvermoee gehad het om dit aan te pak en deur te sien. Baie dankie ook vir die manier waarop jy die proses met ons deel.

Frans, ek weet nie watter beroep jy be-oefen nie, maar dit is heel duidelik dat jy 'n goeie bestaan sal kan maak deur profesioneel na mense se voertuie om te sien; mense wat wil weet dat iemand wat die werk verstaan aan hulle motors werk. Jou kennis, insig en vindingrykheid is besig om baie vinnig legendaries te word! Baie geluk.

Net een opmerking: Sou dit nie beter wees om die watervlaksensor in die boonste verkoelerpyp te installeer inplaas daarvan om dit in die oorvloeitenk te monteer nie? Ek dink dit is moontlik om 'n situasie te kry waar die watervlak in die verkoeler self te laag daal terwyl daar nog vloeistof in die oorvloeitenk is.

This thread makes very impressive reading, ....the thoroughness and neatness of the conversion is outstanding!!! Well done guys, I can`t wait to see it in the flesh.

Pieter, once she`s run in, it will be very interesting to hear your impressions of the TD42T over the 3.0 in terms of overall performance and driveability.

Baie mooi Frans en Pieter - met julle werk het ek amper daaraan gedink dat as my 4,5 oppak moet ek ook gaan vir daai 4,2 T diesel :surprised: :clap:

Pieter - daar is so 'n TROTS gevoel vir wat jy en Frans vermag het ... en JG se Lazarus is ook spesiaal - en Agarob loop weer
Kan ons op soort van manier bymekaarkom en diet "vier' ??? [soos om Moegatle te klim .. of De Wild se nuwe "Rocky Ridge" kaf te draf ??
en natuurlik mag ammal met 'gewone' Patrollies ook inklim op die trippie?
Baie geluk en mag jy nou baie myle van groot vreagde uit jou Patrollie put .. jy verdien dit.

Dis lekker om te sien jy geniet jou kar weer.Ek kry groot genot om jou gesig te sien nou met jou kar wat weer loop.Ek onthou die oggend van die 20ste Maart wat ek agter jou gery het oppad vir die naweek,toe die 3L gegroet het.Ek wens dit niemand toe nie...
Dit is nie net n plesier om aan jou kar te werk nie,maar n groot voorreg.Ek is dankbaar aan ons liewe Vader wat my seen om dit te kan doen.

Gerrit,baie dankie.
Oor die watervlak in die bottel.Die bottel is nie die oorloop bottel nie,wat water terug sit in die radiator soos die kar afkoel en die water "krimp" nie,wanneer hy staan nie.Die bottel is direk aan die radiator se boonste tenk gekoppel en nie na die radiator cap nie.Die prop op die radiator is ook net n dop,die bottel het die drukprop en van hom af is die oorloop bottel.Die twee bottels is die 3L se oorspronklike bottels.Ek wou die druk bottel uitgooi,maar die 3L se radiator het ek behou en het nie n oorloop pyp in die radiator se nek nie.Die druk bottel sit ook hoer as die radiator.
