Now to find the time and cash to do the job.
I still need to order all the adapters from Marks Adapters in Australia, but at least the main part of the swap has eventually hit SA soil.
I could stare at this engine for ever.  :woo:

If someone buys my 4.5, then the project can go forward.
Problem is the house has been sold, and now I have to buy another one for the family. That means projects get put on hold.
Never ending.
Not USD Engel, I bought it in Australia. I think it was round 5000 Oz dollars. Came to around R37000.00 plus R10000.00 to ship and VAT.

OK update on my project. Finally found the guys who are going to do the conversion for me in Cape Town.
I have ordered the adapters from Mark Adapters in Oz, and they will hopefully be here next week.
The Patrol and motor get picked up next Thursday and the stripping can begin.
Going to the dunes on Sunday to give the 4.5 it's last run in the patrol.
Hopefully by December we will be burning up the 35's. :woo: :woo: :woo:
