Ok so I am dropping the Patrol off with the car upholsterer on Monday - I put him in the Disco seat and explained my problem, he will strip the seat and give me a ring - holding thumbs!

Biggles my seat does have controls but more on the seat height and angle - there is no lumber adjustment I can find, only the rake.

Will give feedback once done.

The GUII seats have a little leaver on the side above the center console that adjusts the lumbar support.

Hope you come right.

I have tried many options, coz the roads I use on these outreaches, are torture most of the way .. "re-stuffing" the seats did not help much. Most comfy seats I have ever sat on are the Nissan Hard Body seats.. did not need any extras on them [Sani, Brutus & Boezman]
These days I use the TEMPUR cushion on these log drives. TEMPUR only available at DISCHEM a f i k ....SWAMBO also sourced these round cushions for people that had pile ops.. put it flat side up, and your back is sorted for many miles. days, weeks even.
TEMPUR is not cheap BUT is the only one that works for me.
Nice about the Tempur, after the days drive, take it with you and the lodge/guest house / campsite chair becomes a cozy seat

stuff the stuffing of the seats -- the Tempur is portable AND interchangeable between vehicles :oldtimer: :oldtimer:
