Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

I fitted a TRE front locker to DawidT's 4.8 auto. Very nice piece of kit.

I also did a transmission oil replacement, new fuel pump and fuel filter.

I also fitted a new head unit with GPS

I made a custom bracket to mount the locker compressor

Also added a quick release coupler for an air hose for pumping tyres

Part of the transmission oil change I remove the transmission sump, clean it and clean the filter.

Was the auto box filter clogged up? If so, how bad?

How many litres of oil came out? 6 to 7 litres?

Just some info, the Patrol has less than 80 000km on the clock. Most of this driving was done towing an off road caravan and doing off road work. The gearbox oil change was more preventative work. The fuel pump was also changed - great improvement on power.

The front locker was about R13k (Tinus is this correct?) to buy, excluding the installation done by Anthony. Will try it the next couple of weeks as we are leaving for Botswana and Namibia today
